Smash the Cake Session
Smash the cake sessions are lively and memorable photo shoots typically organized to celebrate a baby’s first birthday. During these sessions, the one-year-old is encouraged to playfully and messily smash a birthday cake, creating adorable and candid moments captured by our photographer. The vibrant and joyous atmosphere of these sessions not only produces charming photographs but also provides a fun and unique experience for both the child and their family.

Smash the Cake Session in your backyard
Deer Baby doesn’t provide the decor or cakes, but we are completely open to whatever you provide. Don’t think you have to overboard though, some balloons and a cute little cake will do! This 1 hour session was photographed by Cary.

You don’t want the mess in your home? No problem, we can meet you at a nearby park if weather allows. This session was a 2 hour session taken by our photographer Franzi.
We come to your home – no studio needed
We often get asked if we offer a studio. We don’t. :-) We come to your home for our smash the cake sessions! Super easy for you – with a bathtub in your home and no traveling needed.
