Hi, I’m Maggie…

…your NYC newborn & family photographer for Deer Baby! I’m located in Brooklyn and happy to travel throughout Manhattan and New Jersey to meet you in your home

I believe that everyone deserves beautiful family photos that aren’t limited by how far their selfie-arm can stretch! Instead of telling you to “act natural” and hope something interesting happens, I’ll suggest movement, games, and prompts—and even crack corny jokes—to help evoke natural expressions and interactions, creating photos that are soaked in love, laughter, and connection.

Photo sessions will take place in and around your home because I believe it is the base for your family’s most intimate memories, but your backyard and your balcony and the park around the corner are not off-limits! I like hanging out in your favorite places and spaces, because an ordinary day has so many little moments worth remembering.
My hope is that years and years from now, long after you’ve stopped checking for monsters under the bed, these photos will remain a cherished piece of your story.
